What is Pellet Widget?

Mac OS X Tiger introduces a new feature called Dashboard, which provides a new and unique class of mini-applications called Widgets. Pellet Widget is a program which sends user query to Pellet OWL consistency checker and displays the output in the Dashboard.

Download and use Pellet Widget

1. Click the download link above.

2. Install and keep it in Dashboard.

3. Click on Pellet Widget icon as below.
   

4. Flip the widget to the back and set the options you want.
   

5. Flip back to front side and enter the ontology URI. You will see the result in seconds. Sample ontologies: koala, wine
   

6. You also can show the result with your default browser (see the option on the back).

Features

• Check ontology consistency
• Display tree hierarchy
• Support RDF/XML, N3 and N-TRIPLE formats.
• Show output on widget or in browser.

Known Bugs

• Clicking on hyperlinks (when showing result on widget) will cause transparent background.
